The initial impact of the solar farm includes but is not limited to the following:

The area under proposal is predominantly north facing making it sub-optimal for harvesting solar energy. It is for this reason that Kronos Solar, the developer responsible for the application, have applied for such a gigantic site.
We absolutely understand the need for renewable energy, but this should not come at the expense of open countryside when other brown field or previously developed sites have not been considered.
Kronos Solar, the developer, are a German company with just 2 UK employees. All profits from this project will return to Germany, there will be no lasting employment in the UK, let alone Amber Valley.
